Dear F/friend who, for me, was always a light in my life
Remembering Paul today, the day of his memorial breakfast and meeting for worship. I had hoped to be there but couldn't do it. So I am worshipping here in Putney with fond memories of many years.

One that comes to me now is of the time he arrived at NEYM sessions from his journey on a bus that was carrying material aid across the border into Mexico. Can't now remember where it was bound but his stories of being with the bus in the dreadful heat waiting to cross thru and not knowing if/how.

What I remember most is the glow of his compassion and commitment. An amazing person and F/friend.

On behalf of all the residents and staff here at Cathedral Square Senior Living, we want to express our sincere condolences to Paul's family and his dear friend, Martha. Paul was a gem. Such a gentle soul of a man as well as so thoughtful toward others. What beautiful blue eyes he had! Paul made such an impression on our community and we will miss him so.

It was my pleasure to be in residence/work space w/Paul and Martha during their tenure at Olney Friends School, Barnesville, OH.
Paul made an effort to help by peeling boiled eggs & Veggies. Washing dishes and other prep work. As we worked, we shared; I being the mother of a soldier and he being a listening ear to veterans.
