Sean Blake Obituary
Age: 27
Sean Timothy Blake, 27, died unexpectedly on August 4, 2017.
He was born in Buffalo, New York March 22, 1990, the son of Timothy and Kimberly (Grossman) Blake. He was also the beloved big brother of Edward (Ned) Blake. Sean graduated from South Burlington High School. He played the oboe, sailed with the high school sailing club, was a member of and co-captain of the South Burlington High School Ski Team. Later Sean went on to take college courses at Champlain College and the Community College of Vermont.
Sean loved to cook and was an avid music fan. He was full of charisma and love for his family, always wanting to help others. He will be deeply missed by his parents, brother, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As an organ donor, Sean was able to save the lives of four people in need.
Thanks to all those who touched his life in a positive way during the times he struggled; especially Dr. John Brooklyn, Sarah Morse NP, Andy & Barbara Pace, Scott Laveau, Burlington Police First Responders, University Medical Center's ER & ICU teams. We are especially grateful to Ed & Mary Ann Spatola of New Found Life in Long Beach, California for their love and support.
A Mass of Christian burial is planned for 10am August 17, 2017 at The Chapel of Saint Michael the Archangel in Colchester, Vermont.
