LORETTA ANNETTE (COOK) RHEAUME Obituary
LORETTA ANNETTE (COOK) RHEAUME BRISTOL - Loretta "Cookie" Annette (Cook) Rheaume, born May 19, 1937, in Hubbardton, passed away at her home in Bristol on Feb. 4, 2014, following a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth D. Rheaume, of Bristol; her children, Marie and Rodney Burt of Westport, N.Y., Lori and Ellen Rheaume of Arizona City, Ariz., Debra Rheaume of Starksboro, Stacey and Gordon Isbell of Bristol, Kenneth D. Rheaume II of Bristol, and Kristina and Andrew Hoadley of Richford; her grandchildren, Rodney Burt II and Jody LaRock, Anne and Marcos Rivera, Nikki and Craig Porter, Michael Burt, Kim Rheaume and Bill Bennett, April Rheaume, Jeremy Quenneville and Laura Morris, Danielle Quenneville and Brian Murray, Carina Isbell, Zachariah RheaumeGygax, Leila Isbell, Sheldon Rheaume, Alysia and Jared Coolum, and Jessica Hoadley and Nathan Bachand; and 6 great-grandchildren, Jaxson Burt, Bryce Porter, Elizabeth and BJ Bennett, and Bradley West and Ignatius Coolum. She is also survived by her sibilings, Raymond Cook and Barb Galluzzo, Henry and Joan Cook, Sarah Hill, Ralph and Joan Cook, Gerald and Becky Cook, and Judy and Robert Welch. Loretta was an "eternal optimist." Her family was the most important thing to her. Loretta always had time for her family - birthdays, holidays and just to be an ear to listen. It was nothing unusual to have heaping plates of blueberry pancakes on Sunday mornings. She always made enough for whoever showed up, no reservations needed. No matter what life handed her she handled it with lots of warmth and positive energy. She always knew that no matter the situation, all would be good. She was a very creative, fun loving, "feisty", special lady. She brought wonderment to many people in her community, as well, through her gift and exquisite talent of flowers. She will forever be in her family and friends hearts, loved and missed by all. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at St. Ambrose Church in Bristol. Friends may call at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, from 4 to 6 p.m.
