PAULA JEAN VERONNEAU - COLCHESTER - Paula Jean Veronneau, 49, passed away at her home in Colchester, with her family by her side, on Aug. 5, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer. Paula was born in Burlington on Aug. 28, 1964, the daughter of Wilfred Billado and Shirley (Jones) Billado. She loved watching NASCAR and often spent Saturday nights watching Lifetime movies with her daughter, Kristen. In her spare time, she enjoyed planting flowers in her gardens. Paula will always be remembered by her friends and family as an amazing woman who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was a hardworking, loving person who was always seen with a smile on her face no matter what the circumstances. She dedicated her life to her children, and always expressed how proud she was of the people they grew up to be. She is survived by her children, Alex Michael Veronneau and his fiancee, Lindsay Cameron, Jennifer Ann Veronneau and her boyfriend, Jacob Wallis, Kristen Ashley Veronneau and her boyfriend, Travis Newsome, and their father, Bryan Scott Veronneau, all of Colchester; her fiance, Paul Edward Cerveniski, also of Colchester; her mother, Shirley Lumbra and her spouse, Gerald Lumbra of Burlington; six brothers and sisters; her special canine friend, Daytona; and all of her inlaws in the Veronneau family. A special thank you goes to her sister-in-law, Dawn (Veronneau) Dorey, Jeff Dickie, Rob Remillard and the rest of her Oil n Go family, for all of their loving support during Paula's illness.
