It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Friday 5th February 2021 at Glastonbury Court, aged 90 years. Joan was well known in the community for her career as a reception teacher at Westgate and St. Edmund's R.C Primary School's where she influenced successive generations of pupils. She will also be remembered for her selfless support of many charitable and altruistic organisations. Wife of the late Tom, mother of Ann, Cecilia and Paul, mother-in-law to Trevor, Philip and Samantha, grandmother of Victoria, Charles, Nicholas, Christopher, Eleanor and Phoebe, great grandmother of Theo, Henry and Florence. Our sincere thanks to Glastonbury court care home for their great devotion and care over the last 5 years. Hers was a life well lived, she will be sadly missed.
