I was saddened to hear of B.J.'s passing. I have followed his artwork for years, and found him a clever wit with the written word as well. He leaves hundreds if not thousands of fans who will miss him.

I still can't believe that B.J is gone. He heartily embraced his passions and his friends, his open and warm personality elevated the mood of all of us who would meet up at that little apartment. He shouldered his burdens and trials with a fortitude that was amazing and could still see the positive in hard times. The world has lost an incredibly talented storyteller, illustrator and friend. We will miss him.

One of the things I remember most about BJ was his willingness to help anyone within his power. His talent as an artist will be missed and his kindness and humor will be with us all.
Rest easy my friend.
