David M. Wright, 60, of Evans City, passed away suddenly at home on Friday, March 26, 2021.

Born May 1, 1960, in Butler, he was the son of Patricia Ann Broderick Wright and the late George R. Wright.

Dave was a 1979 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.

He was Protestant by faith.

Dave delivered parts for Hovis Auto and Truck Supply Inc.

He was a civic-minded man who loved his community. He was also an ardent volunteer since the early 1980s, first at the Evans City VFD, and later at the Connoquenessing VFD. From 1989 until the present, he was involved with the Butler Fire Police. For over 30 years, he was a member of the C.B. Rangers, and for the last 10+ years, he served as the co-captain.

He loved Lernerville Speedway, and served as a push truck driver. He was an avid football fan, and his favorite teams included Seneca Valley, Pitt and the Steelers. He loved plowing snow, and volunteering to help people haul their things.

He will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind man. Dave will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Patricia Ann Broderick Wright, with whom he made his home; his sister, Tricia Voelzke and her husband, Jack, of Evans City; his brother, Richard Wright and his wife, Valerie, of Clune, Pa.; and his three nieces, Katie Ann Wright, Alexis Coleman and Melissa Wright.

WRIGHT - According to his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services for David M. Wright, who died Friday, March 26, 2021.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to C.B. Rangers Inc., P.O. Box 284, Butler, PA 16003.
