October 4, 2014 – Calgary, Alberta
Mark, beloved husband of Joan deBruyn of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the age of 59 years. Mark is survived by his mother Elaine Stewart; brothers Jim (Bonnie) and Tom Lashbrook; nephews Dustin (Kate) and Adam Lashbrook; niece Emma (Dustin) Clifford and uncle David Kaaran; as well as his very special dog Dutchess. Mark was predeceased by his father William Lashbrook and Aunt Marjorie Kaaran. Through his 10 year struggle with MS, Mark never lost his love for life, his family and friends and his spirit of adventure and fun – he was always a bit of a rogue. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In lieu of flowers, Joan requests that donations be made to the MS Society of Canada – Calgary Chapter (Suite 150, 110 Quarry Park Blvd, S.E., Calgary, AB, T2C 3G3). In living memory of Mark Lashbrook, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park
