GRANT _ Arthur Mr. Art Grant of Standard, Alberta, passed away suddenly on January 24, 2003 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his wife of sixty years, Dorothy, in 1998 and his beloved daughter Barbara in 2000. He will be sorely missed and remembered by his daughters, Lorilee (Wade) Dundas of Hussar, and Shirlee (David) McKinnon of Langdon; seven grandchildren, Art (Misty) and Georgina Cooke, Andrea, Wesley and Bradley Dundas, Justin and Matthew McKinnon; four great-grandsons, Dalton, Kyle, Kristopher and Keegan Cooke. Art is also survived by one sister Jessie (Gordon) Gimbel of Calgary and son-in-law Ken Walker of Innisfail, Alberta. Art was the greatest dad and grandpa you could ask for. Always with a sense of humor and a joke. He loved and took pride in his children and grandchildren. He loved hockey and loved to watch his grandchildren play. He loved to drive and see the country and especially loved his car. The loss of our dad and grandfather is hard and immense. We love you always. He will be missed. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at the Strathmore United Church at 2:00 p.m., Reverend Fergus Tyson of St. Michael's Anglican Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the charity of one's choice. WHEATLAND FUNERAL HOME LTD. (Strathmore) in care of arrangements. Telephone: 934-5666. 166842
