CAMPBELL _ Marlene 1942 - 2003 Marlene Karen Campbell passed away following a long and courageous battle with kidney failure on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary. She is survived by her loving husband Fred of forty years; her father Otto Setter; her three children, Darryl (Lynn), Darcy, and Deanna (Mark); and by four grandchildren, Lauren, Brett, Brandt and Rachel; and by her two sisters, Doreen and Marion. The last twenty-five years were spent in Olds where she will be remembered for her passion and talent of sewing, especially quilting, love of gardening and many other forms of crafts. She lived by the motto of giving more than you receive which was shown in her successful efforts to help establish a kidney dialysis unit in Olds which now benefits many in the community. Marlene will be missed by all that knew her but her spirit will live on forever. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 5022 - 52 Street, Olds, Alberta on Monday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 6007 - 1A Street S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 0G5, or STARS Air Rescue, 1441 Aviation Park N.E., Box 570, Calgary, AB T2E 8M7.
