July 15, 1991 - February 7, 2013
Travis Grasmeyer went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the age of 21 years. Travis is survived by his loving parents, Ken and Pat Grasmeyer; his siblings, Tracy, Kimberly, Alison, Kayley, Steven and Michael; his Grandma and Grandpa, Alice and Herman Baas; his Opa, Jan Grasmeyer and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Travis was predeceased by his Oma, Rita Grasmeyer (nee van Helden) on March 20, 2012. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service will follow at Bethel United Reformed Church (730 - 101 Street S.W.) on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Joel Vander Kooi officiating. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared with Travis' family through www.evanjstrong.com. Matthew 11:28.

Ken, Pat and family. I came across this and am deeply saddened by your loss. No words of comfort can I offer other than you will meet again in heaven. The years have gone so quickly by since we were so young and in CCS. Wonderful to see that you now have an amazing family. May God gently hold you all in his arms and provide you comfort.

I cannot find the words to describe the amazing man that Travis was. All I can say is that I am truly blessed to have known him for so many years. His silly giggle, spontaneity, and passion for knowledge are the things that I will always remember him by, but what I will remember the most is his relentless love for his family and friends. It is not often that you meet someone with as big of a heart as Travis'.
To Travis' family: my thoughts and prayers are with you always. I pray that you find strength in God and peace in the support and love of your friends and family. May Travis never be far from our hearts.

I am sorry for your guys' loss, I went to school with Travis back in Elementary School from grades 2-6 and I got to know him pretty well, he will definitely be missed. RIP TRAVIS!!!!

Travis was a sharp individual. He was a talented, honest and thoughtful young man and his tennis stroke developed quicker than anyone's I have ever seen before. Whether it was birthday parties, camp fires, riding around in your volkswagen or just hitting the ball back and fourth on the court I will cherish all the memories we have shared over the past 15 years as long as I live. I remember Travis as the sweet, blondish haired boy, who always had his guitar from my grade 8 home room. It was so neat to see him again a just a year ago as a guest of Kevin's at our church.
