William John (Bill) Bauer beloved husband of Mavis of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the age of 90 years. Bill was born in Stony Plain, Alberta, August 8, 1923. Bill's working life was spent running his companies in trucking, oil and gas and more recently in lime and marl. He is survived by his wife Mavis, daughter Nicola and husband Aaron, son William and wife Cindy, his brothers Harry (Jean) and Reuben (Ruth), and sister-in-law Ethel, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents Alexander and Elizabeth, brother Carl and sisters Amelia and Lydia. A Memorial of his life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
