Mary was a wonderful mother in law to me for 22 years and a hands on grandmother to our (Linda) children. She never refused a request. I've brought so many wonderful memories with me through life with Mary and Jim as my in laws. The best years of my life were as a part of the Maxie family.

I was so sorry to hear of Auntie Mary’s death. She was one of my favorite aunts – she had a great sense of humour and played a wicked game of Aggravation. My deepest sympathies to cousins Craig and Linda and their families.

I remember meeting Jim & Mary at the house across from the Foothills Hosp when we planted trees in the back yard. I don't remember either of them ever having a harsh word or without a smile on their faces, despite health problems through the years. We used to laugh about getting each other's mail, & each other's library fines because we had the same name. Our condolences to all. Mary & Peter
