Jordan, I will always remember you as a hard working, kind gentleman. You were a great leader and a great follower. It is a great tragedy that you have left the face of this earth. May God be with you.

My deepest condolences on the loss of your sons. To lose both your young boys so suddenly will cause pain and sorrow beyond human description. I lost my 22 year old son tragically, four years ago and not a moment goes by that I don't think of him. Please know that I understand the depth of your pain and that my heart and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. Take care, and once again my deepest condolences on the loss of your children.

Dear Caldwell family, every day since this tragedy we have cried for you and held you up in prayer, that you may feel God's strength and love. Our girls recently transferred to Westmount and Jordan made them both feel welcome and special as he said hi to them in the halls. They are in grade 5 and 8 so having such a popular boy in grade 12 notice them and say hi, made them feel so special at a time when they struggled to fit in. Both of your boys were like this and such a gift to everyone around them. I have wondered how you raised such charismatic, talented, and caring boys and then Shauna, I read your email to the parents at Westmount thanking them for the support you've been given but asking them to remember the other boys in prayer and financially as their families struggle to get through this incredibly difficult time, and I was profoundly moved. Here in your darkest hour you were thinking about others and trying to help them and it hit me - this is why your boys were the way they were, they were just like you. I hope you are filled with pride when you continue to hear about the immeasurable ways that your boys touched so many lives. Thank you for raising such wonderful sons. We will continue to pray for you in the days ahead.
Yours in Christ,

Not a day has passed since the accident that I have not gazed from my window, across the valley to where I can see COP, and thought of your family and lifted you up in prayer. I have a son who knew your boys through his group of friends. I do not pretend to know your grief. It is a place you share in an intimate circle with God where tears are shed and raw despair is laid down. Please know in this season of grief, that prayers are lifted for you, for the surviving boys, for the emergency personnel that attended, for every young adult. Please know that long after the media has faded and our community heals, we will continue to pray. Through the ache, through the "firsts", through the healing and whatever foundations you envision to supplant Jordan and Evan's legacy. God bless you and keep you.

Both my children attend Westmount and both knew Jordan as a charismatic leader at the school. They revered him for his role, his personality, and his kindness. We heard him emcee the grade 7 band night. What a fabulous job! We were treated to fabulous interactions with Jordan. We are sorry for your loss, and for the loss at Westmount. Our condolences to your family for your loss.

This is a tragedy on many levels but one that hits home with me is the identical twin factor. I'm an ID twin and it's clear your sons had a connection that only twins really understand from start to finish. Unfortunately the finish line was much too soon. Condolences.

Condolences from Arbour Wood. Our daughter Megan played soccer with Katie. We remember the boys as being very bright and cheerful on their walks around the neighbourhood with their happy family.

Words can't express the pain I know your family is going through at this time. When I heard this news I was shattered knowing another family has to endure this pain. Ten years ago I lost my 21 year old twin girls in a car crash. Learning to live again will be a difficult one but know that your boys will be on each side of you holding you up with the help of the Lord. I ask myself why would he take both but I know now that our children came in to this world together and left together. Our children would of had a rough life without each other. In the years to come they will live in your heart, I sometimes think of it as a toothache that never goes away. Keep family and friends around and with the help of the Lord begin your journey in this new life without your boys. I am so very sorry for your family.

To the Caldwells,
I can't say that I knew Evan or Jordan very well, but whenever I would see Jordan in the halls at Westmount and say hi, he would always smile and respond, and give off an air of a great friend. He was possibly one of the most kindhearted, cheerful, amazing influential people at our school, and I'm sure Evan was no different. You lost two amazing children, but they are always with you and everyone who knew him, no matter what. I am so sorry for your loss, and I hope that you can find the strength to get you through this time.

I became friends with Jordan through the Explore program in Quebec. He was the nicest and most gentle person I have ever had the privilege of meeting. He lit up every room he walked into and could make me laugh without saying a word. He was so open and accepting and never judged anyone. Jordan had the biggest heart and I'm so honoured to have been his friend, even if it was for a short period of time. Although I never met Evan, I'm sure he was as much a wonderful person as Jordan was. My thoughts and prayers go out to their family during this time.

Jordan helped my daughter adjust to Westmount when she first started grade 7 in past September. Dear Caldwell Family,
It is with a troubled heart that I write this at first and then, quickly I am reminded of John 14:1 "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."
My prayer is that you'll be comforted by God's loving arms as He draws you closer to Him and find strength in Him. Hold fast to the blessed hope that is only found in our Saviour, Jesus Christ that one day, you will be reunited with Jordan and Evan and what a glorious day that will be.
-Though I haven't met you yet, we are connected in Christ as well as some of my family in Calgary thru RMCC and Westmount. Prayers, love and hugs.

I will forever cherish the wonderful time we shared growing up together as neighbours. I think back to some of my favourite memories, the model train show, camping in the backyard, building forts in the basement, bouncing on the trampoline, bike rides, and street hockey; to name but a few. I will never forget you guys.

These beautiful boys sounded liked they were amazing teens. What a wonderful gift that they were to this world. They had each other while here and they will have each other for eternity. With 2 boys of my own, my heart and deepest love go out to their family. They were obviously loved very much and Mom and Dad did an amazing job raising 2 great kids. May you find rest and support in these very long days ahead. I know that God will be with them and you as you mourn your precious precious boys.
