Emily McKenzie

McKENZIE _ Emily (nee Rhodes) Died peacefully October 29, 2007 at the age of 95 years. Em is survived by her eight children, Phyllis (Abe, deceased), Ted (Yvonne), Shirley (Merle), Jim (Donna), Enid (Stan), Bob (Gail), Rae, and Ron (Tracy); twenty-three grandchildren, fifty-three great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great-grandchildren. Emily was predeceased by her husband, Charles McKenzie, in 1970. She will be interred with him in Big River, Saskatchewan. For the past nineteen years she lived in Calgary, the last eighteen years at Shouldice Lodge, and she and her family so appreciated all the love and attention that the staff showed her during her time there. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Saturday, November 3, at 10:30 a.m. at McInnis and Holloway's "Crowfoot Chapel", with reception to follow. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the CNIB.
