Dolores Vivian Crawford (Lorrie)
Corpus Christi, TX
Dolores Vivian Crawford (Lorrie), age 85, passed away September 9, 2018. She was born on January 1, 1933 to John and Mary Minnick in Flour Bluff, TX. She was raised in Corpus Christi, TX and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in 1951. Lorrie married Don, her husband of 62 years, on September 1, 1951. She moved with him to many places across the world. Lorrie was a loving wife, mom, mom-mom, meme, daughter, sister, and aunt. She will always be remembered for her unending love and devotion to her family, and her pride in being the wife, mother, and grandmother of Texas Aggies! Her kids and grandkids meant the world to her. In her job as mom, she was a taxi driver, nurse, shoulder to cry on, friend, and an amazing cook, often using recipes acquired during life's travels. She opened her home and heart to all of her kids' friends; there was always a seat at the table for any visitors.

She is survived by her sister Dolly (Dub) Smothers, children, Linda (Mark) Bickham, Lee (Vicky) Crawford, Butch (Mitzi) Crawford, and Kathy (Tom) Westerman, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great- grandchildren. The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to her caregivers John and Nicole Flores, Rome Rosalez, and especially Lucy Dominguez.
