Lorenzo Clark Hernandez III

Corpus Christi - Lorenzo Clark Hernandez III, passed away on December 19, 2020 at home surrounded by his loved one. He was born on May 17, 1951 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Lorenzo was a 1970 West Oso graduate and attended Texas A & I University in Kingsville. He was a L.V.N. nurse at Memorial Medical Center for 28 years. He worked in the medical surgical unit and was a charge nurse on 11-7 shift, worked I.C.U. cardiac and burn unit telemetry unit. Retired on January 2002 due to illness.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo C. Hernandez Jr., mother, Elida C. Hernandez, brother, Marcos C. Hernandez, sisters, Mary Lou Hernandez, Maria T. Hernandez, Eloisa H. Botello and niece, Melissa H. Botello.

Lorenzo is survived by his sisters, JoAnn Hernandez, Sandra Lynn Hernandez, brothers, Gilbert C. Hernandez, John Christopher Hernandez from Corpus Christi, Texas, Fernando C. (Susan) Hernandez from Hanover, Pennsylvania, nephew and nieces, David A. (Juanita) Hernandez, Mark A. Meza, Marcos Hernandez, Jr. from Corpus Christi, Texas, Marcus, Leticia, Joseph, Michael (Ellyda) Botello from Austin, Texas, Kristina L. and Rowland L. Hernandez from Hanover, Pennsylvania, uncle, Fernando Clark of Houston, Texas, aunts, Aurora Zambrano of Houston, Texas, Rose Cruz of Robstown, Texas, and his three boys he loved, Elijah, Noah, Isaiah.

Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. on January 6, 2021 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home followed by a Divine Mercy to be held at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Following will be the Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
