Pansy Payne Obituary

Pansy M. Payne, 70 passed away on December 2, 2003. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Pansy was born August 16, 1933, in Cotton County, Oklahoma, to Louis (Hote) and Willie F. Richey. Her parents and brother, Pat Richey, preceded her in death. Pansy was a resident of Corpus Christi for the past 34 years. She was a valued employee of H & R Block for the last 15 years. Pansy is survived by her husband, Paul J. Payne; three daughters and sons-in-law: Yvette and Ron Schroeder, L. Zoe Payne and Chuck McKinney, Klyda and Jerry Gerber; and one son and daughter-in- law, Phillip and Becky Payne; eleven grandchildren: Phillip Gerber, Michelle Zudrell, Shanna Wiley, Eddie Gerber, Jackie Payne, Jeff Gerber, Stacey Evans, Kim McKinney, Joslyn Payne, Nick Schroeder and Tom Mc Kinney; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother Charles Richey; a sister Patty Lawson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be prior to Service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2003, at Seaside Funeral Home. The celebration of Pansy's life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2003, at Seaside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
