Roland and Tim sharing Army stories
My last memory of you is a big hug and kiss on my cheek, I am so lucky. Without you I would not have my wonderful husband and our children. I was only blessed with sharing your life for a few short years, but they were awesome. I loved sitting out in the yard with you and listening to you and Tim tell stories. I saw the love you had for him in your eyes, they way you looked admirably listening to his stories. I loved the letters you wrote me and the articles you would send and the quiz that would show up in the middle just to see if I was really reading them :) Roland it makes me sad to know we cannot drive to Florence to visit with you anymore. I will never forget you especially when I tend my garden. A lady from Bruce McCandless referred to you as the Happy Harvester, Perfect! RIP my dear father-in-law, I love you.
