John Johnson Obituary
Age 65, of Canton, passed away May 25, 2021. He was born September 29, 1955 in New Castle, Pa. John is survived by his wife, Karen Johnson (Hogue); daughters, Lee Johnson (Clark McGill) and Amy Johnson; grandchildren, Dewey Griffiths, Cecelia Griffiths, Eliza Griffiths and Quinten Johnson; and numerous close friends and family.
John was a devoted Steelers fan and you could find him after church, on Sundays, watching the game at Falcone's. He loved his '74 Monte Carlo and regularly attended cruise-ins with his car friends in the summer. John also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, taking them on bike rides and walks at the park. John was a certified HVAC and worked in maintenance at Malone University where he enjoyed working with his co-workers and helping the students and staff.
A celebration of life will take place at Perry Christian Church Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Perry Christian Church. For those wishing to send condolences please visit www.reedfuneralhome.com to sign the online guestbook.

I’m so sorry to hear about John’s passing. His kindness was genuine, and his visits would brighten our day. He was happy to offer rides across campus during the winter months. I really enjoyed rooting for the Steelers and Penguins with him. He will be greatly missed -- my condolences to his family and everyone who was fortunate enough to experience his generosity and friendship.

I knew John for Many years , thru the YMCA and boating/ Car Shows. He always had a Positive Attitude, was full of energy & Just a pleasure to be around and Know . I’ll miss John & Never Forget Him . .
