Lova Walsh Obituary

Lova Jean Walsh
Lova Jean "Jeannie" Walsh, age 86, died Tuesday morning, November 18, in Mercy Medical Center. Born in Bergholz, Ohio, she had been a Canton area resident most of her life, most recently in St. Joseph Care Center, Louisville, except for twenty-one years in Naples, Florida. She had been a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, member of Shady Hollow Country Club, Lady Elks, St. Michael's Garden Club, Choir, Cub Scout Leaders, and Bridge Club. Predeceased by parents, Hector and Jenny Robson; brothers, Bill, Bob, and Dick; sisters, Margaret Myers, Dollie Volzer, Ruth Ann Patton, and Cathren Rathke; husbands, Edward P. Schneider, M.D. and John "Andy" Walsh, with whom she celebrated their 50th anniversary October, 2007, Survived by brother, E. Jay (Mary Lou) Robson; children, Edward H. Walsh of Houston, Gretchen Anne (Dr. Thomas) Graham of Canton, Charlene "Peach" (Frank) Bors of Canton, J. Michael (Pamela) Walsh of Canton; grandchildren, Chad (Theresa) Graham of California, Michael Graham of Houston, Second Lieutenant Justin (Christi) Walsh of Aberdeen, MD, Leah Walsh, R.N. of Akron, Ellie Walsh of Canton, Molly Bors of Findlay, and Andy Bors of Canton; and great-grandchildren, Thomas and Chad Graham of California. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 24, at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Joseph Care Center, Louisville, with Father Robert Pfeiffer as Celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Joseph Care Center, 2308 Reno Drive, N.E., Louisville, Ohio 44641.
