Sydney Alise Kleptach Obituary
Sydney Alise Kleptach 2000-2018

Age 18 of Canton, passed away from a tragic accident surrounded by family Monday, September 10, 2018. Our beloved daughter, Sydney was born in Canton on June 13, 2000. She was a 2018 graduate of GlenOak High School, and currently a student at the University of Mount Union. She was a very active student, majoring in biology, French and playing on the women's soccer team. In high school, she was the president of the National Honor Society, a student ambassador, a Varsity soccer player, and dedicated over 900 hours to community service. Outside of her studies, she was gifted in artistic endeavors including choir, creating realistic drawings, and self-taught musical instrument talents. Sydney's greatest talent though, was touching the lives and bringing pure joy to everyone she met. Her time with us was very short, but the impacts she had on us, others, and the community will last a lifetime.

Sydney was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Barbra Demetro. She is survived by her loving parents, Brian and Lisa (Demetro) Kleptach; Lexi, her sister and best friend; paternal grandparents, John and Andrea Kleptach. Uncles and aunts John and June Kleptach, Michael and Shelly Demetro, Nick and Kristen Demetro, Frank Demetro and Eddie Demetro; great aunt Sandy Mann; and countless cousins and friends.

Family and friends will be received Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, with the Very Reverend John E. Sheridan, STL officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
