Frank J. (Francis) Puhalla
Frank J. (Francis) Puhalla, 73, of Plain Township, Canton, Ohio, died Wednesday evening, June 13, 2007, at his residence surrounded by his wife, and family. He was born on June 27, 1933 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (MacClarsky) Puhalla. Frank was a self-employed carpet installer in Youngstown for over 40 years. and moved to Plain Township, Canton, Ohio in 1999. Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Donna J. Skinner whom he married on December 12, 1951; four sons, Joseph (Lorrie) Puhalla of Bismarck, North Dakota, Michael (Deborah) Puhalla of Greenford, Ohio, Steve (Susan) Puhalla of Poland, Ohio, Frank Puhalla, Jr. of North Lima, Ohio; three daughters, Norma Christopher with whom he made his home, Elizabeth Hamilton of Boardman, and Barbara Puhalla of Youngstown; 13 grandchildren Felicia, Bruce, Marc, Ryan, Joseph Jr., Justin, Jordan, Michael Jr., Jennifer, Derek, David, Rickie and Cassandra; seven Great Grandchildren; and a niece, Michelle. Friends may call today, June 15th. from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market St., Boardman. Private services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Hospice, 2821 Woodlawn Avenue N.W., Canton, Ohio 44708.
