Kristopher "Kris" Beach King passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018, in Englewood from a seizure-induced myocardial infarction. Plans are being made for a celebration of his life. If you'd like to attend, please e-mail [email protected] for details.
Kris was born on Feb. 11, 1988, in Walnut Creek, Calif., to Geoffrey Beach King and Cynthia Rose King. He grew up in Evergreen and attended Clear Creek High School. Kris went on to earn an MBA in international business from the University of Denver. During his time at the university, Kris traveled the world, visiting Spain and Sweden, and completing an educational program in China.
After university, Kris went on to work for APLUS Products in Denver, where he was promoted to senior project and sales manager in less than three years. In 2014, he moved to Chicago, where he lived for three years before moving back to Colorado.
Kris loved the mountains where he grew up and the outdoors. He was happiest when snowboarding, riding motorcycles, camping, cooking and listening to music. He was known for his enchanting charisma, sharp intelligence, kind heart and incredible sense of humor.
He is survived by his parents; his brother, Cameron; aunt and uncle Susie and Eric English; aunt Karen Musser; cousin Maddie Hatrick; uncle Paul King; cousin Connor King; aunt Krista King; and his awesome bear, Cooper.
If you would like to support the King family in its time of need, please donate to the established fund to care for Cooper:
