PERLMUTTER - Alan D., M.D. of West Yarmouth, formerly of Michigan, on Friday, March 26, 2004. Beloved husband of 48 years of Ronna (Jacobson). Loving father of Nancy Perlmutter and Joseph Feiner, Lisa and Paul Cole, all of Wellesley, Susan Perlmutter, M.D. and Irwin Studen of Reston, VA. Cherished grandfather of Evan, Adam, Sarah, Abigail, Jacob and Hannah Rose. Dear brother of Burt Perlmutter, M.D. of Lexington, and the late Fred Perlmutter. Services at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Road, Wellesley, on Tuesday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m. Memorial observance following the burial at the home of Gloria and Arnold Tofias and will continue at his late residence on Wednesday, beginning at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, Suite 1100, New York, NY 10016 or the Amyloid Research Fund, Boston University School of Medicine, 75 Albany Street, K-503, Boston, MA 02118. Levine Chapels, Brookline, 617-277-8300.

Dear Mrs. Perlmutter and family: Everyone here are the ABU office was very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Perlmutter. He was much beloved and respected by so many, including all of us. We have had calls of inquiry come in for days from all over the country. He will be missed by all. Our condolences at this very sad time. All our best, Ursula B. Dunlap, Administrator and the staff of the ABU office.
