Blanche Hayes Obituary

PEABODY — Blanche P. (Baginski) Hayes, 91, of Peabody and formerly of West Yarmouth, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at Renaissance Gardens at Brooksby Village in Peabody.

She was the wife of the late Alfred M. Hayes.

Mrs. Hayes was born, raised and educated in Boston. She lived in Dedham until moving to West Yarmouth in 1977.

A member of the Polish Society of Cape Cod and the Islands, she was also a member of the Fernald League for the Retarded and a communicant at St. Pius X Church in South Yarmouth.

She is survived by a sister, Harriet Zatursky of Manchester, Conn.; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, in St. Pius X Church, Station Avenue, South Yarmouth. Interment will follow in Ancient Cemetery, Yarmouthport. Visitation will precede the Mass beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.

Memorial donations may be made to the Fernald League for the Retarded, P.O. Box 85, Belmont, MA 02478.

I am so sorry for the loss of Aunt Blanche. My deepest sympathy to all relatives and friends. I have many fond memories of going to her and Uncle Als house in Dedham, when I was a young child. She was a wonderful woman, will be missed.
