Joan Foley Obituary
She was the beloved wife of Timothy M.; loving mother of Joan McGoldrick and her husband, Kevin, of Billerica, Timothy M. Jr. and his wife, Polly, of South Dennis, Mary Ellen Ruffing and her husband, Daniel, of Billerica; sister of Kathleen Jefferson of Arlington, and the late Margaret Morrissey and Mary O'Donnell. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Funeral will be held from the Brown & Hickey Funeral Home, 36 Trapelo Road, Belmont, on Saturday, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass is in St. Peter's Church, 100 Concord Ave., Cambridge, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment is in Cambridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Joan's memory to the Bishop Riley Memorial Fund, 31 Buckingham St., Cambridge, MA 02138.

To Mr. Foley, Joan, Tim, Maryellen & Family,
I am so sorry to hear about mom. I knew she wasn't well when I sent her a quick note back in August or so. I can still picture her when she would get laughing, sometimes there were sarcastic undertones as we were probably making fun of someone or something. I will never forget her, she was a special part of my growing up.
