Jocelyn Palmer Obituary
She was the beloved wife of Richard R. Palmer for 56 years.
Born in Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Palmer was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleen (Hebbard) Jago. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in art from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., in 1951. She was employed by the First National Bank of Maryland in Towson, Md.
Mrs. Palmer was a watercolor artist and was active in the Cape Cod Art Association. She also served as a member of the board of directors of the Dennis Council on Aging.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Palmer is survived by two daughters, Joy Hilton of Plymouth and Margo Palmer of Salem.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, in the Northside United Methodist Church, 701 Airline Road, Brewster. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445, or to the Salvation Army, 147 Berkeley Street, Boston, MA 02116.
