John O'Neil Obituary
John E. O'Neil, formerly of Sandwich, died Nov. 15, 2007.
He was the husband of Rita M. (Murphy) O'Neil; father of John S. O'Neil of Mansfield and Mary F. O'Neil of Oregon; and brother of the late Stephen F. O'Neil.
Funeral services will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Route 123), Brockton, on Monday at noon. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 1:45 p.m. Calling hours are Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. For directions and obituary, visit www.RussellFuneralHome.com.

Dear Rita and Family - I was so sorry to learn of John's passing - our world has lost a true gentleman. What a lovely human being he was!!! I met him when he came into the Sandwich assessing office and later met you, Rita, when you came down with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family....

Ed and I were so sorry to hear of Grampy Johns passing.I'm so glad that I got to meet him at Jays birthday party.He was exactly as John had described him.He never stopped smiling or laughing.We know he will be sorely missed and he and Rita will be in our thoughts and prayers.God bless.
