Michael Medeiros Obituary
He was born in Hyannis, educated in Barnstable schools, and attended Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. As a self-employed carpenter, he worked all over the Cape. Mike was a sports enthusiast; he loved all sports and music.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Ronald Medeiros of Harwich, Patricia Washington of Marstons Mills, John Medeiros of Jacksonville, Fla., James Medeiros of Bath, N.H., and Elizabeth Medeiros of Dennisport. He was the brother of the late Camille Medeiros and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be in John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road (Route 28) Marstons Mills, on Thursday, May 24, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. Burial will be private.
Because Mike loved children, memorials in his name may be made to Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Mike you always had a kiss and hug for me. You always treated me with respect,teasing me at keno,and saying you loved me. To Mike's Family.
My family and I lived across Mike's backyard fence for the last 12 years. We ALL loved Mike. He was a gentle spirit and had a kind soul. My husband enjoyed the many talks he had with Mike about his fish pond and life in general. Mike always refered to his fish as "his kids". We all loved listening to him play his guitar while he was BBQ'ing or just chillin in the back yard.
Unfortunatley we just found out he passed over to the other side just a couple of days ago. We are sorry we missed saying goodbye...
but he is in our hearts and will always be remembered as a strong gentle man.

My condolences to you Jimmy & all your family. I remember Mike as a smiling happy kid when I visited your home on Butler Ave. I didn't know him as an adult, but I'm sure his essence remained the same. Now he's with Wayne & your parents & @ peace. I remember Mike as a softy under a sometimes gruff exterior. I remember Mike and his White Russians and how upset he was watching the events of 9-11. I remember how handsome he was and how much he loved Jeanny.
