Nicholas Tibbetts Obituary
Born in Boston on March 5, 1981, he graduated from Plymouth South High School, class of 2000.
Nicholas was a carpenter, working with Colonial Installation in Bourne.
He was the beloved son of David A. Tibbetts and his wife, Susan R., of Plymouth, and Phyllis M. (Wells) Tibbetts of New Bedford; loving brother of Jonathan A. Tibbetts of Candia, N.H., and Michael A. Tibbetts of Plymouth; grandson of Marie D. Komar of Milton; nephew of Paul A. Tibbetts of Windermere, Fla., William Tibbetts of Rochester, N.Y., and Mary Pat Tibbetts of Rochester, N.Y.; and cousin of Christopher Tibbetts, Jenny Tibbetts and Katie Marie Tibbetts.
Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, on Tuesday at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Bonaventure Church, Manomet, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours are on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. only. Burial is in Cedarville Cemetery.

Dear Marie - I am so sorry to hear about your grandson. I worked with you in the Dept. of Commerce (Mr. Lucci's secretary Mary). I lost my son when he was 18 due to undetected heart problems; and my heart goes out to you and your entire family. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care...

We cannot find the words to express our sorrow over the loss of Nick. But as we started thinking about his generosity, his incredible work ethic, the genuinely warm greetings he offered, his beautiful smile . . . it helped a little. So did the knowledge that Nick had the most loving, loyal, steadfast father ever.
