Rita A. Greene

QUINCY, Mass. — Rita Abigail (Harrington) Greene, 92, of Quincy, formerly of Milton, Sandwich and E. Boston, died, Oct. 8, 2007.

Rita was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Greene.

She was a devoted mother of, Joseph H. Greene and his wife Gail Turner, of Marblehead, Jerome P. Greene and his wife Susanne McAlister, of Indianapolis, Ind., Robert F. and his wife Inge Greene of Germany, Elinor and her late husband Kenneth Johnson, of Weymouth, Paul J. Greene of Dania Beach Fla., and Mary C. Greene of Belmont.

Rita was also the sister to the late Jean, John, Teddy, Robert and Elinor.

She was the loving grandmother of Dawn, Sean, Dirik, Erik, Jerome, Kai, Tim, Bruce and Jeffrey.

Rita also leaves her great-grandchildren, Christopher, Melina, Alexander, Bryce, Trent, Abigail, Alden and Jackson.

Funeral from the South Weymouth, McDonald Funeral home at 809 Main Street (Route 18 opposite to South Shore Hospital), Friday at 9 a.m.

A funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Trinity Parish, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 227 Sea Street, Quincy, at 10 a.m.

Relatives and friends are invited.

Visiting hours will be, Thursday evening, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery, South Weymouth.
