PAPAGNI - Rosalie M. (Giacchetto), of Cambridge and Mashpee, February 15, 2005. Devoted wife of Peter M. Papagni; loving mother of Charles P. Papagni. Also survived by her beloved grandson, Peter C. Papagni. Daughter of the late Calogero and Maria Giacchetto, owners of Warren Bakery; sister of Cosmo Giacchetto, Warren Giacchetto, Caroline Napolitano, Clara Petrosino and the late Salvatore Giacchetto and Lena Drogo. Funeral from the Donovan-Aufiero Funeral Home, 140 Otis Street, (at 6th St.), EAST CAMBRIDGE, Monday, at 9 AM, followed by a Rite of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cambridge at 10 AM. Visiting Sunday, 5-9 PM. Interment Tuesday, 9:15 at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her memory to the Mary McCarthy Hospice House, 73 Service Rd., East Sandwich, MA 02537.

Dear Charlie, Peter & Peter,

We have lovely memories of Rose. When our children were young she was sweet to them. She made them beautiful hats. I can remember what they looked like. She put a lot of love into them. She used to always say Marie Cabella when she saw them. Will always remember the Christmas dinners we shared with her at Christmas eve. She had a smile that was contagious. She will be remembered lovingly. Even though she will not be with us, her memories will live on.
