Louis Oliver Obituary
He was the kind and loving husband of Heather A. Oliver; brother of Lillian Silva; devoted father of Kathleen McLaughlin, Christine Astin, Michelle Murphey and Marc Tessier; grandpa to Jennifer McLaughlin; Puppa Lou to Cameron Astin, Marina Macedo, Nick and Chelsea Tessier, and Tyler Prada; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by Jennifer McLaughlin, and brothers and sisters.
A veteran of the Korean War and a Falmouth volunteer firefighter for many years, he worked in hardware most of his life, managing New Seabury and Osterville House and Garden Shops. He was the No. 1 Red Sox fan and will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 28, at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville. Burial is private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the C. Eileen and Lawrence M. Tangvik Memorial Cancer Fund, 825 Brook St., 1-91 Tech Center, # 3, Rocky Hill, CT 06067-3405.

I never got to thank you Lou for making mom so happy for so many years. We miss you so much but we take comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain and now you are our guardian angel up in heaven with Jenn. Our memories will keep you alive in our hearts until we are together again.
