Dillon Moran

Dillon Moran Dillon Thomas Moran, 16, a lifelong resident of Davidsonville, died on December 3. Born in Annapolis, on May 19, 1995, Dillon had attended the Severn School since the eighth grade. He had a great love for all types of music and played multiple instruments. He was the bass guitarist for the Severn School band that performed in the Anne Arundel County Battle of the Bands competition. Dillon showed great aptitude in the technological field and loved any type of gadget. He was looking forward to studying engineering in college. A passionate athlete, He loved being part of a team. He grew up playing soccer and lacrosse for the Davidsonville Gators. He was currently a member of the Severn School men's varsity soccer team, was captain of the men's JV lacrosse team and played club lacrosse for Team Smartlink. A member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Davidsonville, Dillon loved wakeboarding, snow boarding, spending time with his family and friends and was loved by all who knew him. Dillon was preceded in death by his grandfather, "Johnny" Carr and his grandmother, Helen Moran. He is survived by his parents, Martin and Barbara Moran; three brothers, 2nd Lt. Nicholas P. Moran, Cody S. Moran and Kyle M. Moran all of Davidsonville; his grandmother, Barbara Carr; his grandfather, Frank Moran; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends are invited to Dillon's Life Celebration 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday December 7 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Thursday, December 8. Interment will be private.
