Linda Lagana

Linda Lee Lagana, 65, of Davidsonville, died suddenly August 18 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
She was born on March 4, 1947 in Washington, DC and graduated from Suitland High School in 1965.
During her career, Linda was payroll manager at Encore Travel Agency and pastoral secretary for the Maple Springs Baptist Church in Capitol Heights.
She was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Davidsonville. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ronald E. Lagana, who died this past May, her parents, Blanche Wallace and Hubert Carlock and her brother, Charles Carlock.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Jill) Lagana of Frederick and Thomas (Jennifer) Lagana of Crofton; her brother, Robert (Mary) Carlock of Waldorf; two sisters, Holly (Vincent) Cook of Lusby and Deborah (Hank) Kinnaman of Owings; five grandchildren, Dominic, Damon, Danielle, Marina and Annabelle; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Friends are invited to Linda's Life Celebration from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation c/o DeCesaris Cancer Institute, 2001 Medical Parkway, Suite 240, Annapolis, MD 21401 or the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Avenue Annapolis, MD 21403.
