On Tuesday, May 10, 2016 of Cheverly, MD. Cherished husband of 58 years to Betty Bellamy. Beloved father of Beth Bickley, Jeanne (John) Doherty, and Ray (Karen) Bellamy, III. Devoted grandfather of James (Nikki) and Mark Bickley, John and Patrick Doherty, and Jenna and Rachel Bellamy. Great-grandfather of Lochlan Bickley. He was an historian, genealogist, baritone soloist, gardener, champion golfer, and also an avid fan of his grandchildren's activities. Friends may call at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A., 4739 Baltimore Avenue, Hyattsville, MD on Friday, May 13 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and also on Saturday, May 14 at Cheverly United Methodist Church, 2801 Cheverly Avenue, Cheverly, MD on Saturday, May 14 from 10 AM until service time at 11 AM. Interment Private. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Cheverly United Methodist Church, at the above stated address or to a charity's of ones' choice.
