Adina "Diane" Ashburn, 86, of Reisterstown, formerly of Randallstown, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, at Best Care Assisted Living facility in Reisterstown.
Born Jan. 2, 1928, in Westminster, she was the daughter of the late Reed and Irene Dixon Sheffey. She was the wife of the late Arthur Norman Ashburn, who died Jan. 24, 2002.
She was a sales clerk.
Surviving are a sister, Julia C. Gibson, of Westminster; stepsons David Ashburn, of Chicago, and Tony Ashburn, of California; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by siblings Thomas Dixon and Eva I. Smith.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service, noon Thursday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Best Care Assisted Living, 639 Main St., Reisterstown, MD 21136.

I met Cousin Dina only a few years ago. She was a very lively person and we did enjoy each others company when we were together, which was not often. I am so glad we did meet. My deepest sympathy to her immediate family.
