Frederick Longhenry, 53, of Baltimore, formerly of Hampstead, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at home.
Born Nov. 3, 1959, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frederick David Longhenry and Julia Ann Noonan Longhenry. He was the former husband of Natashales Emelia Longhenry.
He was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church. He had worked as an assistant administrator for the Catholic Relief Services.
Surviving are siblings David Longhenry and wife Christine, and Maryann Bonning and husband Stuart; nieces Kathleen Longhenry, and Erin and Kate Bonning; and a nephew, Devon Bonning.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 114 W. Saratoga St., Baltimore, with his pastor, the Rt. Rev. Monsignor Arthur W. Bastress, as celebrant.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, 301 Stockholm St., Baltimore, MD 21230.

As another one of Fred's Frostburg friends, I'm so sorry to learn of his passing. His kindness and smile are warmly remembered even 30 years later. My thoughts and prayer are with you.

So sorry to hear of Freddie's passing. It seems like just yesterday he was coming home from the hospital as a newborn. What a joy he was to your family. I hold those memories of my favorite neighbors as some of the sweetest from my childhood.
