Gilbert Larry Davidson, 76, of Hampstead, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his home. Born January 6, 1939 in Upperco, MD, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Evelyn (Miller) Davidson. He was the husband of D. Joan Bauerlein Davidson, his beloved wife of 55 years. He served in the US Army and the National Guard. He was a member of Hampstead Baptist Church, former member of Hanover Ham Radio, President of Misty Meadows Properties, LLC and a farmer. He had been a maintenance supervisor at Random House prior to his retirement. He loved playing checkers and other games with his grandchildren and enjoyed gardening. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Pamela Davidson of Upperco, Sheri Martin of Hampstead, Sandra Davidson of Hampstead; son-in-law, Jeff Martin of Hampstead; granddaughters, Hallie Martin of Hampstead and Hannah Martin of Hampstead; grandson, Hunter Martin of Hampstead; brother-in-law, Frank Bauerlein and wife Donna of Hampstead and Richard Bauerlein and wife Vicki of Westminster. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead, MD. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at 10:00 am at the Eline Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Brammer officiating. Interment will be in Wesley United Methodist Cemetery.
