Mrs. Isabelle Romaine Graham, 91, formerly of Union Bridge, died Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born September 8, 1924 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Deborah Bostian Reaver. She was the wife of Gerald A. "Dick" Graham who died in 2007. Mrs. Graham was formerly employed with H.L. Hartz sewing factory for 44 years. She was a very active life member of the Union Bridge Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary where she served as treasurer for 56 years. She had also served as president of the Carroll County Ladies Auxiliary Association. She enjoyed needlework, word search and jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and families. She had been a resident of Heartfields Assisted Living since September 2011. Surviving are daughter, Geraldine Black and husband Charles of New Windsor; 2 grandchildren, Dennis Black and wife Cindi of Frederick and Sharon Green and husband Michael of New Windsor; 5 great grandchildren, Kristen Bell and husband Cory, Nicole Keller and husband Jay, Tyler Black, Courtney and Lindsey Green and 5 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 6 sisters and 2 brothers. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 9 at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge, with Rev. Richard L. Michael, pastor of St. James Lutheran Church, Union Bridge, officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Union Bridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8 where a memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. by the Union Bridge Ladies Auxiliary. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Bridge Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 1050, Union Bridge, MD 21791.

I worked with Isabelle at hartz sewing factory for years and my mon also such a fine lady she was and she try end to keep me out of trouble most of the time.. Your family has my condolences.
