With deepest sympathy to the family. I purchased the Dunn's home in Hedgesville last year. Although I only met him once, Mr. Dunn was very kind and the neighbors have shared lovely stories about them. I have changed very little in the home, as the late Mrs. Dunn and I had similar tastes. Will say a prayer that the Dunns are together again. May they rest in peace.

Two time Irish Open Champion (2006 and 2013)! There was a void at the tournament this year with Jimmy not present. He will be greatly missed. Our prayers go out to his family.

I was terribly saddened to hear of Patrick's death. I knew him when he attended high school with my daughter; we never knew him as Jimmy he was always Patrick to us. He was often at our home, and I found him both lovable and funny. Unfortunately, I lost touch with him shortly after he enlisted in the Navy, and I moved to a new home. I still have a lovely photo of him in his uniform, taken during his first few months of service. Even though I haven't seen or spoken to Patrick for many years, I can still hear his voice and laughter; it's as if a light has suddenly gone out in the world. God must have wanted him for something very special to have called for him so soon. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family, and everyone who was privileged to know him.

Our hearts are heavy at the passing of Jimmy. He was such a delight; always with a story to tell and had you laughing within minutes.
He was very proud of his Irish heritage and I know the McDonnell Family in Ireland are as saddened by his passing as we.
I recall him standing outside of Aunt Bridget's home all dressed in his kilts pipping his grandmother on, I believe, her 90th birthday.
I know he is now in paradise with so many McDonnells that are saying to him, "Jimmy, what took you so long?! " Rest in peace, Jimmy, you were loved by many.

I am so sorry for Jimmy's suffering, but I truly believe that he is joyfully with Jesus, Marionne, Jeanne and everyone that he loved.
"He who believes in Me will never die, for he has already passed from death to life"
I'm so sorry that the family can no longer enjoy Jim's goofy, loving, giving personality here on earth, but I believe that you will see him again in Heaven, where 'every tear shall be wiped away'. These are Jesus' words and I hope that you find comfort in them. love, Barb Thompson Blauw
