Louise Baker Love, 79, of Westminster died January 23, 2015 at Copper Ridge. Born September 1, 1935 in Woodbine, she was the daughter of the late Alma Pickett Haines. She was the wife of her former late husband Charles H. Baker, the late Vernon L. Love, Sr, and loving companion of the late Mervin L. Rill. She retired from Carroll County General Hospital where she worked as a switchboard operator and business office clerk. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and Deer Park United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughter Linda B. Simon, daughter and son-in-law Vicki M. and Michael Munshaur, son and companion Kevin A. Baker and Sheri Angel, daughter and companion Stacey Anne Savino and Thomas Finley Jr.; stepsons Vernon "Lee", Jr., Donald, Kenny and James Love and their spouses; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 18 step-great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by son-in-law Frank E. Simon and sister Delsie Pickett Fogle. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the PRITTS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. A funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Art Monroe, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Deer Park Cemetery, Smallwood. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made, in her name, to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster MD 21157 or Deer Park Cemetery Fund, (checks payable to Deer Park Methodist Cemetery Co.) 2200 Sykesville Rd., Westminster, MD 21157.

Louise was a dedicated to her work while at Carroll Hospital General Hospital and there she found many friends. We extend our sympathy to the family and her friends. The Old Timers Group will memorialize Louise at the Auxiliary Tree of Lights Ceremony in December at Carroll Hospital Center. The family is encouraged to attend for it is a beautiful recognition of loved ones passed.
