Mary A. Simpson Neeb, 99, of Hanover, Pa., formerly of Woodlawn, died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at home.
Born March 10, 1914, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. Simpson and Suzie Emma Whitmeyer. She was the wife of the late John A. Neeb Sr.
She was a clerk for the Social Security Administration until 1971, then a homemaker. She lived at the Arlington Baptist Apartments for more than 20 years and enjoyed playing cards.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Eleanor R. Neeb; grandchildren Gregory Keith Wilhelm, of Millers, and Kimberly Neeb, of Hanover; and great-grandchildren Andrew D. Wilhelm and Christopher S. Wilhelm.
She was predeceased by two brothers; three sisters; and a son, John A. Neeb Jr.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service, 1 p.m. Thursday at Arlington Baptist Church, 3030 N. Rolling Road, Baltimore. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
