Regina Gordon Obituary



Regina Marie Gordon, 70, of Owings Mills, formerly of Sykesville, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at home.

Born Dec. 17, 1943, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Earl and Marie Pope O'Rourke, and stepdaughter of the late Earl A. Peterson.

She had worked for the State of Maryland and as a administration assistant for the University of Baltimore Law Clinic.

Surviving are daughters Meghan Kimball and husband Thom, Samantha Smith and husband Ronald, and Sarah Gordon; sister Eileen DeRuby and husband Richard; and grandchildren Maxwell August, Molly Mackenzie, Claire Elizabeth and Olivia Grace Smith.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service, 3 p.m. Sunday at Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
