Walter Washington Robertson Jr., 71, of Dover, Pa., formerly of Westminster, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at home.
Born March 14, 1941, in Westminster, he was the son of the late Walter W. Robertson Sr. and Gladys Robertson Cook.
He worked for BJ's Wholesale as a greeter and gas station attendant. He was a graduate of New Windsor High School in 1959. He enjoyed playing tennis, lawn work, line dancing and woodworking.
Surviving are son Jeff Robertson and companion, of Red Lion, Pa.; daughter and son-in-law Karen L. and Doug Steinberg, of Taneytown; son and daughter-in-law Michael P. and Ruth Robertson, of Mount Airy; siblings Kenneth E. Robertson, of Union Bridge, and Dorothy Williams, of Williamsport; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by an infant son, Daniel L. Robertson.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the time of service, 7 p.m. Friday at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
