Aaron Christopher Bell, age 28, of Westminster, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Born October 18, 1989 in Evansville, Ind., he was the son of Kim and Howard Stansbury of Westminster. Aaron was a 2007 graduate of Westminster High School, where he played varsity baseball and football. He continued his love of the game, playing baseball for the Westminster Titans and football for the Carroll County Cannons. He was a junior firefighter for 3 ½ years with Gamber and Community Fire Company. He enjoyed being outside and was currently working in landscaping, hardscaping and pest management. He also loved fishing, hunting and working out at the gym. He cherished spending time with his family and his German Shepherd "Memphis". Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his brother and sisters, Adam, Alyssa and Amanda, all of Westminster; beloved friend, Abbey; maternal grandmother, Valerie Law of Swansboro, NC; paternal grandparents, Howard and Linda Stansbury of Westminster; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother and two grandfathers. The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor on Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 833 Deer Park Rd., Westminster on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. Pastor Stacy Marsh and Deacon Melissa Helfer will officiate.
