Ada M. Hahn, 79, of Abbottstown, PA, and formerly of Brunswick, MD, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Ada was born on July 13, 1938 in Leesburg, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Tyler and Layton (Davis) James. She was the beloved wife of Charles William Hahn, Jr. Ada worked as a nurse at Long View nursing home, retiring in the late 90s. She was a member of the Westminster Moose Family Center and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Brunswick where she enjoyed playing bingo. In addition to her husband, Ada is survived by her sons William Spurlock and wife Diane of Abbottstown, PA, David Langley of Abbottstown, PA, and Timothy Langley and wife Rene of New Oxford, PA; siblings Dorothy Yowell, Lynn James, and Clyde James, all of West Virginia; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings Thelma Connors and William James. The family will welcome friends on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Mummert officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery. The family would like to thank the VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove for the loving care that was provided to Ada.
