Addie Blanch Rice, 77, of Westminster passed away on Tuesday July 12, 2016 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born June 12, 1939 at home, in Woodstock, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Anna (Peacher) Powers. She was the wife of the late Robert Rice who passed away in 1991. Addie had worked as a school bus aide for Baltimore County Schools. She was an avid reader who enjoyed word search puzzles, dancing, country music and the occasional Pina colada. She is survived by her children Robin Bonsal (Robert) of Salem, WV, Diann Cammarata (Brett) of Westminster, Lisa Schoenberger (Michael) of Hampstead, Denise Bardoff (Scott) of Red Lion, PA and Harry Rice (Lisa) of Millsboro, DE; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Addie was predeceased by her 3 brothers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 10 am until the start of the funeral service, 12:00 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Sykesville. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157.
