Adelle L. Snyder, 87, of Pikesville, died Sunday March 10, 2013, at Season's Hospice at Northwest Hospital.

Born Nov. 5, 1927, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen LeCompte. She was the wife of the late Harry C. Snyder.

She worked for 33 years as a kindergarten teacher at Milford Mill United Methodist Church, where she was a longtime member. She also was a member of the Young At Heart and Red Hat clubs. She enjoyed collecting music boxes, antiques and traveling, especially to Ocean City.

Surviving are a granddaughter, Sara D. Snyder, of Upperco; a grandson Gary C. Snyder, of Upperco; and companion Earl Lowe, of Pikesville.

She was predeceased by a son, Harry C. Snyder.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Eline Funeral Home, 11824 Reisterstown Road, Reisterstown.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Milford Mill United Methodist Church, 915 Milford Mill Road, Pikesville. Interment was in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
